Welcome to Elmfield House, a family-run guest house where you can enjoy great bed and breakfast with the benefit of a license and evening meals by arrangement. We are situated in the heart of Wensleydale, the jewel of North Yorkshire Dales.

Based in Arrathorne, adjacent to James Herriot Country and the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park, Elmfield House is situated between Middleham, the horse racing centre of Yorkshire; the bustling market towns of Leyburn, Bedale, Richmond and Thirsk; and Masham the beer brewing capital of Yorkshire.

Our guest house - which boasts excellent accommodation and the best in local produce - is also an ideal base to explore County Durham, the glories of the North Yorkshire Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the region's coastline.
