For those of you who like to have an evening meal we have great news - we will be having a short break in March while we do some work to the house and when we re-open evening meals will be available for the whole of the summer season.  Things you will need to know are ..............

.........we are happy to provide evening meals but do not run a restaurant which means we cook meals by arrangement and we do need advance notice that you would like to eat here.

• If you would like an evening meal on the first night of your stay then please arrange this when you are booking your room.  You can book in advance for as many meals as you like and during your stay you can request a meal as long as we have 24 hours notice.
• The meals are 2 hearty, home cooked courses which are served at 7pm.  The food served is likely to be seasonal and locally produced particularly as this year we have someone who is going to start a vegetable garden so we could have home produced veg by the summer.  Yum.
• The cost of this delight is £16.50 per head including coffee or tea to follow.
• We will work around dietary requirements or strong dislikes if you tell us about them.  We are experienced with vegetarian and gluten free diets but please make sure we know exactly what your requirements are especially if you have other dietary requirements.
• Please note that chef's night off is Sunday when we will not be able to offer a meal and we will let you know if there are any other days during your stay when we are unable to provide a meal.
• Remember also that we have great restaurants/pubs in the area including The Countrymans Inn, which is so popular with our guests,  where you can also enjoy a high quality meal.
