Dear Astra and Ian,
We would like to thank you for everything, including restaurant tips,route instructions,the delicious breakfasts,the lovely room and last but not least the warm welcome.
It was Gustel's first time in Great Britain and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel to prove what the "Brits" have to offer in the hospitality branch!
I am looking forward to staying at Elmfield again, with my husband and I'm sure Gustel and I will come again too.

We had this lovely e mail from some guests this weekend .............

Hi there

We just wanted to thank you again for a lovely stay. We sat munching our packed lunch in the grounds of Fountains Abbey following a 6 mile stroll, most delicious and much needed.

We had a safe journey home and are back at work today, tired but feeling better for the fresh air and kind hospitality.

We hope you are soon on the mend, Astra, and thanks Ian for all your hard work!

For info just before these guests arrived I parted company with my appendix very suddenly and in rather spectacular fashion so was out of action during their stay.

The room was lovely, beautifully decorated, the most comfortable bed I
have ever slept in, fantastic restaurant quality food, really friendly
hosts and satellite channels most welcome.

I am not normally so effusive - but it makes such a difference to stay
somewhere like Elmfield House.
