This 4 day break was the first for some years for my Mum and I was keen to make sure she enjoyed herself. Emma and Darren went out of their way to make us feel at home and it was ideal to be able to come and go as we pleased. The room was lovely, with the welcome tea and cake very acceptable after a long journey.The food was delicious and the surroundings ideal for a perfect relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of life. I would certainly recommend Elmfield House to anyone looking for a quiet peaceful location where you are very well looked after, yet within easy reach of the delights of North Yorkshire. I cannot wait to go again and would definitely recommend this place!

Very warm welcome. Every need anicipated and provided for. Good food and lovely room. We really enjoyed our stay and the beautiful surroundings.

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay at Elmfield House. We took a short pre dinner walk in very peaceful surroundings without the need to take the car, a bonus after a long drive. Emma cooked us a delicious evening meal and made us both feel really welcome. Our room (Field) was top quality throughout with plenty of space and an uninterrupted view out into the countryside. There was no light pollution so at night you could clearly see the stars whilst lying in bed.
Finally Emma arranged an 7am breakfast for us as we needed an early start and this allowed us time to savour rather rush a full English before we departed. Nice touch.

We were made very welcome and had a most relaxing stay. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully appointed and the breakfasts excellent; we have already booked our next visit.

Have stayed twice now and returning again soon. Love the place peace and quiet, fantastic warm welcome, lovely views, just love it.
Clean infact very very clean everywhere and slept in different rooms and had fantastic sleeps both times.
