Elmfield House is a four-star guesthouse run by the Towning family who offer luxurious bed and breakfast in the heart of Wensleydale.

We also hold a Silver Award and Breakfast Award from Visit Britain as well as associate membership of the AA and support local food producers and businesses by sourcing our food purchases as locally as possible.

Based near Arrathorne our location is an excellent base for exploring some of England’s most stunning landscape along with bustling market towns and historical sites.

The house offers en-suite accommodation in spacious rooms with comfortable beds followed by a really hearty Yorkshire breakfast.  Geographically we offer a great location for business or leisure  travellers whether you are travelling the A1 or staying longer to explore what North Yorkshire and County Durham have to offer.

Our house is open all year and while we are at our busiest in the spring and summer many guests return in the autumn and winter to enjoy the change in the seasons and take advantage of our great winter offers.  Throughout the year we do discount on longer stays so please give us a call to make an enquiry.
